“First bed and breakfast experience”

My husband was turning 60 and I wanted to do something different for his birthday. Staying at a bed and breakfast was on his "bucket list". We spend a lot of time in the Plymouth area so I thought about that. Then as I was searching the Internet I came upon the Holly House. I loved that we could see the canal from our deck, as it was Febrary and there were no leaves on the trees. We toured around the Falmouth area all day, as we usually stay in the Dennis area of Cape Cod. Tom and Rita gave us good suggestions of where to go for dinner. We went to the Lobster Trap...DELICIOUS! Tom and Rita were wonderful hosts. We felt right at home. The house was quaint and CLEAN! Breakfast was great. Would go there again on a heartbeat!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Canal Room...loved it!

“DON'T STAY HERE!”

Their cancellation policy is terrible, a week out, less than 24 hours after making the wrong reservation they still charged us. Terrible customer service.

“Old world Charm”

Myself and boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights in November 2008. Wanted a few days away from Boston to explore the cape and this was a great place to stay. Typical New England house full of history and charm. Beakfast consisted of delicious fresh baked scones nd muffins, fruit, cereal anything we could want really! Tom would chat with us during this and offered loads of advice on places to go and see, where to eat etc. Was a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to experience good old fashioned hospitality.

The house is a quaint, typical New England home, lots of wooden furniture, books and nik-naks, quilted comforters and a lovely comfortable bed. The hosts, Tom and Rita, did everything they could to make us welcome and sat and chatted with us over breakfast and gave us some good tips for exploring cape cod. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet, chilled break.

“Quaint Old world charm with attentive hosts”

We stayed here for two nights with another couple in mid september, once the rush of the season had past. The house is a quaint, typical New England home, lots of wooden furniture, books and nik-naks, quilted comforters and a lovely comfortable bed. The hosts, Tom and Rita, did everything they could to make us welcome and sat and chatted with us over breakfast and gave us some good tips for exploring cape cod. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet, chilled break. If you want modern and clinical and posh, I would suggest this place is not for you, but if it's comfortable, relaxed and quaint you're looking for at a reasonable price for the Cape then you won't find much better than this lovely b and b. We booked through Bed and Breakfast Cape Cod who were also really helpful. Thanks for a lovely time!

“Home from home”

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with hosts Tom and Rita and they did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one .
The house is in a very convenient place for travel to the Cape , Boston and Plymouth .
