“Thanks for a Wonderful Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

We were fortunate to have received a gift to stay at the Ashley Manor in January 2012. What we envisioned prior to our visit was confirmed by the warm and hospitable welcome of Pat and Vince. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the downstairs and then brought upstairs to our room, The Canterbury Suite. The suite was spacious and equipped with a fireplace (with a firelog already to be lit) and a whirlpool bath. The attractive furnishings included beautiful bed linens and plenty of room to relax. We dined at The Red Pheasant in Dennis, which was excellent, and upon our return, were greeted with a bottle of champagne and two complimentary champagne glasses. The following morning we had a snowstorm and, while we wanted to do some exploring of the Cape, we were tempted to stay put, as did some of the guests, to enjoy the hospitality and comfort of our surroundings while watching the snow fall. Breakfast was always delicious and plentiful. In addition to the main entree, there was always fresh fruit and freshly baked goods put before us. We found the mid-Cape location to be especially convenient to either end and, even in the dead of winter, found plenty to keep us occupied.

We are looking forward to returning to the Cape, most likely in the fall, and need no other recommendations of where to stay, we plan to return to Ashley Manor. We liked it that much.

Room Tip: Phinneas Terrace has a lovely deck off the bedroom which I think would be a very nice feature in the...

“Great romantic get away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here in January 2012. Pat and Vince were incredibly cordial and welcoming. We were greeted warmly at the door and given a tour of this historic house (built in the 1690's). The beautiful wide board wood floors and antiques give this house a wonderful historic feel. Each room has a wood burning fireplace and oversize jacuzzi tub. A fire was built in our room, the King George Suits, and ready to light. Pat and Vince made a great recommendation for dinner and we had a super meal at the Red Pheasant. Upon returning we found a complementary chilled bottle of champagne waiting in our room with two complementary engraved champagne flutes. We lit the fire and had a great evening.

The grounds are beautiful even in January and there is a tennis court which would be great to enjoy in a warmer season.

Breakfast the next morning was a wonderful three course meal. The blueberry buttermilk pancakes were great. We had a great stay and will stay here again. We have stayed at several B&B's in the area and this is the best we have seen.

“We want to come back!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

My girlfriend Ashley and I had a wonderful stay here last Valentines day. The room was very clean and the innkeepers Vince and Pat were fantastic. Pat told us to get some fish and chips in Chatahm at a pub named THE SQUIRE. Sure enough the food was delicious. Vince makes a nice tasty breakfast. We want to come back perhaps in MARCH!! Definitely top notch at this BnB!! I think we need to try the Ashley suite^^

“Great place to stay”

This inn is owned by a very welcoming couple. The house is beautiful, the room we stayed in was clean, warm and well decorated and breakfast was great.

Room Tip: The "Ashley Suite" is located outside the house - outdoor access, no neighbors. Very quiet...

“I would absolutely stay here again”

I was not the average guest at Ashley Manor - as I was in the area on business, rather than for pleasure. But, I was so glad to have Ashley Manor as a home base. It is a lovely B & B and Pat was a wonderful host. I had a couple of long days - and being able to come back to such a cozy space was ideal. The room is comfortable and clean and I especially loved the wood burning fireplace and the sheets were fantastic -- which made for a relaxing evening and excellent rest. If I am back in the area, I would absolutely stay here again.
