I done stayed there last weekend, and let me tell you that that joint was poppin, the front desk people were some of tha friendliest people i done ever met. The resturant inside the hotel had some of the tastiest chicken I ever laid my tastebuds upon. When I got to the room it was tha cleenest hotel room I ever stayed in, and because of my last profession believe me i done stayed in many. Overall the hotel was a truly magnificent experience, the service (especially the front desk) was beyond excellent, the food in the restaurant was delicious, as well as reasonably priced. The location is unbeatable being right on the Island, and I look forward to staying there again, perhaps this time with my family.

I had a confirmed and paid for reservation with a note of a late check in. After a disasterous time coming down from Baltimore, we finally arrived at midnight. Low and behold, they claimed that the reservation was never finalized and the room was given to someone else. They paid for me to stay at another hotel in another town across the river in California, Md. Then they proceeded to give me bad directions. I did not go back to that hotel the next night because of the poor service.

I'm not a geography major but I'm sure they placed the Mason Dixon Line above Maryland for a reason. I'm from the country and Solomon's Island has definitely brought me back home. Especially their diamond in the rough, the Holiday Inn Solomon's hotel. I stayed there last week-end. I felt like a king last week-end and rightfully so. From the plush beds to the amazing food and drink I would love to invite my dads entire family here to see a replica of our home in action. The cook, 'Joe', even kept the kitchen open for a few more minutes to give me and my slightly intoxicated friends a BLT before bed. Bartender 'Becky' also fixed us some top of the line Long Island Ice Tea's. Maybe they should call them Solomon's Island Ice Tea's because they were definitely on point. The front desk staff was very welcoming as well. Shout out to Ms. or Mrs. Beryl. She kinda reminds me of my mom. She asked me like 20 times if I needed anything and if there was anything she could do for me. I gave her a tip just for being concerned. The room was nice and spacious and provided ample space for my alcohol induced, vertigo ridden body. lol. Great job Holiday Inn Solomon's.

When you walk in, you just think that they have air freshened the lobby, but its all over the hotel including the rooms, i don't know if they are trying to mask some mold odor or smell, but it would give someone who has a hard time with fragrance a headache. it must be throughout the ventilation system of the whole hotel because we could smell it throughout, and it was heavy, including in the rooms. the staff was very nice, the rooms were nice, clean, and its in a nice area to walk to the water. the restaurant had a breakfast buffet that the scrambled eggs were so bad they must of been powdered mixed with water,
