i am a great fan of hilton because i vacation with their points that i accummalate while on business travel....this place looks and smells brand new...free internet and fresh baked 5pm cookies helped too.. just great location and restaurant at the end of the parking lot Ruddy Duck is great too!

There aren't a lot of lodging options in Solomons. This is a great new property. It was bustling with weddings and events when I was there - but quiet. For a mid-size hotel in a small town, the amenities are great - pool, fitness center, 24 hour business center, free wifi, coffee bar and restaurant in the lobby. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious and have fridge and microwave, staff is friendly, and the place is immaculate.

We came down from DC for a concert at the Bayside Toyota Pavillion. The hotel was great. Clean, quiet, well run. Everyone on the staff was very nice and all hardworking and cheerful. We had breakfast and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

It's hard to be surprised by a HGI hotel, but this one did Saturday night. The room was great (clean and comfortable) and we did not eat there so I can't vouch for the food. The surprise came that night. We checked in a little early and rested before going out to a Ronnie Dunn concert around 5 PM. Upon our return about 10:30, the room keys did not work. A trip to the desk resulted in us being told we were not in the room we had occupied that afternoon. The young lady at the desk had no idea of what to do. After what seemed a long time, she agreed to reprogram our keys so we could get into our room where all of our clothes and "stuff" still was. At least no one else had been assigned the room and we don't know if the other room we were assigned was ever used, but you can be sure I will be checking the credit card charges carefully. Oh yes, the hotel had left a short note telling us there had been some confusion about our reservation and we were assigned a new room. The note had been pushed under the door that our keys would no longer open - bright thought folks.
