I was in town for the Seagull century and stayed at this hotel. It is convenient to Salisbury and near a bunch of shopping (Target, Chick Fil-A, Greene Turtle etc) so if you want a bite to eat or need to pick up something there are plenty of options within walking distance (disclosure: while you can walk there isn't a sidewalk or crosswalk to get to the other side of a busy street). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and complimentary. The staff is helpful and friendly, especially with the crowded conditions of all the riders in Salisbury for the bike ride.

After needing to change a last minute reservation, I was very pleased with the Hampton Inn.
Debra greeted me at the from desk and was very helpful and kind. She gave recommendations on were to eat. I was in town for the Seagull century, and she was just nice and friendly. The room was very clean and neat. I was on the 5th floor which was great, hopefully next year I will have it again.
Autumn the cleaning person had the room very neat and clean, she even arranged some papers we had on the table in a neat and organized, which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast on Saturday with the egg omelet and cheese was super delicious..

I just rebooked for next year and can't wait

We really liked staying here at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast was awesome and would cost about 10 per person at a restaurant;; therefore, if you are a couple with two kids, this place actually saves you about 40 bucks a day. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the rec area was very nice. My only downside is that the pool was a bit cold. Make sure you ask for the 2 or 4th floor as those are the renovated rooms. I think some others came during the renovation and that is why they gave it bad reviews.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn. The lobby and public areas were bright and colorful. We had a king bed room with a sofa, and our room had plenty of space. The bed was comfortable - I loved the comfy duvet - and there was an assortment of pillows with varying degrees of firmness. The bathroom was large with a big vanity. The room also included a small refrigerator & microwave. The breakfast was plentiful, with a waffle maker - my favorite - and western omelets, fried potatoes, fruit, muffins, and more. Coffee was available all day. Restaurants and shopping were nearby. We would definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again.
