“Dirty, Dumpy, Dark Room”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

This is the worst motel we ever stayed at. The rug was filty, the sink was clogged and took 20 minutes to drain, found 2 cockroaches in room, all lamps had very dim light bulbs in them, one light out, could barely see a magazine I was trying to read, toilet so low to the floor andold dirty blankets on beds with multiple cigarette burns in them.
We checked in late, brought our things into the room and didn't want to go back out to the desk to change rooms or leave being so tired. (Didn't know all this was wrong right away, being room was so dark)
We were surprised this motel being a Days Inn was so run down and dirty. I complained to management when checking out, the man didn't have a reply. Shocking they could charge $72 a night for such a dump!

Room Tip: Go to Best Western, a few miles away more but much cleaner.

“Vacation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

at Check in the staff was friendly. iu had booked my reservation online and when I got there; my reservation was for a smoking room. I went to the room and the room was smoked filled and it was dark and dank. I went back to the front desk and asked for a non smoking room. When I went to the new roo; it was much better. I still can smell smoke in my room because I was beteween two smoking rooms. I also was flighting with the flies and the toilet made noises. The hotel served my purpose and that was to sleep there at night. During the day I was in Ocean City.

“Never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

I stayed in the Days Inn with a few friends the night before a big event in Salisbury. We were late in getting our act together and didn't have other lodging options. But after one scary and horrible night at the Days Inn Salisbury, I would rather drive from DC the morning of the event than stay here again. It was absolutely disgusting. The only upside is that it continues to be a source of dark humor for us, and the "gold standard" by which we discuss/rank low-end hotels.

“Sigh of relief”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

I was scared of what we would find when we arrived at this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. Our room did not have burnt orange walls or dirty carpets, we did not see any flies and did not notice any sort of mildew or mold smell. We checked the mattress before bringing our bag in and were surprised that the mattress looked brand new. The only problem we had was the toilet leaking from the supply line to the tank - which was annoying, but not a big deal. I advised the front desk and asked for a towel, which they provided without question, and put it on the floor for the night to soak up the water. Check-in was simple, check out even easier. I didn't notice any kind of a breakfast in the lobby, but we checked out after 10 so it was probably already cleaned up. Overall, not a terrible place to stay and I would book here again for future trips.

“Garbage Dump”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. Smoke smell, cigarette burns on carpet, lamp shade busted on table lamp, filthy carpet. I could go on, but everyone should avoid this dump at all costs. Even the desk clerk was non-existent during my check in and check out. He must have been avoiding the pig stye himself. Pass this one up! Sleep in a rest area instead!!!!!!

Room Tip: There are no good rooms, unfortunately this is the second time I stayed in this garbage dump.
