“Fresh remodel, Clean, Comfy, and Pet Friendly !”

I was hesitant at first because I did find a bedbug report from late 2010 that had me concerned. Our room was very clean and freshly remodeled. I searched to be sure and found no trace of any kind of critter at all. The bed was comfortable. The pantene shampoo and soap made in the USA was great to find. It was a quiet room. Our dog did not sniff at anything in the room and it had no odor whatsoever. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise and I will return and would recommend.
We did not check out the continental breakfast because we were headed to judge bbq but we were told they had wafflemakers so it may have been a good spread.

“Pretty nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 April 2012

I just came back from a spring weekend getaway with my boyfriend to salisbury/ocean city md. We stayed at this hotel because it was close to his family. The hotel was surprisingly very nice, considering he picked it :). The bathroom was more modern than I expected and the room was nicely appointed. The best part was the bed, it was firm but soft and it was nicely decorated with tons of pillows, some decorative. It was so comfortable we didn't want to leave it to go to ocean city which is a 30 minute ride away, btw. The staff was nice and helpful, giving us tips on restaurants to eat at near by. The continental breakfast left some things to be desired but was adequate. There was cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and you could make your own waffles but there wasn't any meat or other real breakfast items. The next day we ended up just going to IHOP down the road. So all in all, I really liked this hotel and would stay here again. The only things I would change is the breakfast items and the 11:00am check out. Hotels should have a noon check out or later. This hotel isn't that busy to need an 11:00 check out. This sucked because we couldn't really lay around in the comfortable bed all morning.

“very comfortable hotel”

We had been driving all day and were looking for a comfortable place for the evening, and we found it. I was greeted by Melanie, who was very pleasant and helpful and provided a good recommendation for a restaurant. The rooms are "no frills" but are comfortable and clean and the wi fi worked great. The warm cookies in the lobby were also a nice touch. Will stay here again if I'm in the area.

“Not worth it!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 April 2012

I have stayed at this Best Western a few times because they allow dogs, but from now on I will not stay here. There is one problem after another. A few months ago (in the winter) the heat was not on in the room when I checked in. I had to leave for 2 hours before the room warmed up enough to be habitable. The next time I requested a downstairs room but was told that the rooms were taken by the military. I do not begrudge our service men and women in the least, but there was no military - not then and not the next morning. On the latest visit, I went for breakfast but the three table breakfast room was full (the hotel was maybe 25% full), and if I wanted to eat, I would have to stand. No thanks. One of the more poorly managed hotels in which I have ever stayed.
