Hotel was a very good value. I have stayed in several Salisbury hotels of about the same price and quality. I hate sleeping on a rock hard bed which is what you typically get in the price range we were looking for. ABV had a confortable bed, I sleep well for once. Staff was very nice and friendly. Hotel is older but the room was clean. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel don't stay here. If you are looking for a good value this is the place. We did not get to try the hotel's resaraunt but we heard good things about it, Indian fare (not American).

Very clean, wonderful hotel. I was very happy with my overall stay here. The room was very clean and the staff was actually quite friendly. I would stay again.

if you like staying up most the night cause you feel uncomfortable and disgusted and have to wear your shoes to the bathroom then this is the place for you!! they should just tear this disgusting place down and start all over!!

My family and I were relocated to Americas Best Value Inn from Ocean City during Hurricane Irene. The owners took advantage of the limited occupancy and sold out rooms and increased the nightly room rate. As we checked in, I took a look at the "office" desk area, that told a story in itself. We were supposed to stay for two nights and we immediately knew that we would have to stay for at least 1 night and find another location for the second night. We slept on top of the covers and did not shower. The hotel was gross. My daughters socks were black after walking on the rug. The owners also took advantage of their customers by placing locks on the ice machines and making them pay $5 at the front desk. There are a few hotels right down the street - wishing we would of stayed in our vehicle instead. Minor worries to add - our phone did not work and our door lock appeared to be broken into at one time. I am deeply concerned the Maryland hotel inspector has missed this one.
