We stayed at this hotel while attending the Waterfowl Festival in Easton. We stay here every year because we like the restaurants in St. Michaels.

St Michaels is a hot and upscale destination and the area hotel/-BnB prices reflect that. This Best Western is BARE BONES but it was clean and the shower was big and wonderful. We had a room right out front on the hiway but was totally quiet. There;s a little coffee shop for a free lite breakfast . For LESS THAN HALF the price of the least expensive place in town this was just fine. BIG PLUS-new restaurant RIGHT next door that serves food till 11!pm!

Our stay at the Best Western was extremely overpriced for the place. We paid $119 for the Thursday night and $147 for the weekend nights. Unfortunately- there was not many places to choose from in St. Michael's so that is why Best Western can charge the rates they do. While the service was good and prompt if we needed more towels/coffee sent to the room, the young woman at the front desk didn't know where to direct us for lunch. The bed comforters were disgusting and air-conditioning didn't get cool enough. The pool was closed.

My advice- stay in Easton where there are more places to choose from (15 minutes away) and more of a lively town than the sleepy main street of St. Michael's.

We just returned from a three day stay and, as always, were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff. Our TV remote wouldn't change channels so I called the front desk and I swear it wasn't 30 seconds later when the desk clerk arrived and fixed it. We come here every year, love the quaintness of the town and friendliness of the townspeople. The town is only one mile away and parking is free. It's only an hour from Rehoboth and Ocean City as a side trip. We wouldn't stay anywhere else and would recommend the hotel to anyone coming to the area.
