This facility was clean and comfortable. No bugs of any kind. We reserved a Queen bed but were upgraded to a King. It had two pools that were open with very clean, clear water. It is not mentioned as an amenity, but the room did include a small refrigerator. The only thing it didn't have was a microwave. The continental breakfast included both hot & cold cereal, bagels, danish, fruit, fruit juices, waffles, coffee & tea. It is set up in a separate area with tables and chairs for comfortable eating. We drove down to Tilghman's Island and went on the Skipjack (a sailing ship used for oyster harvesting). It was very reasonably priced. The Captain was very friendly and informative, and was happy to take us out even though my husband and I were the only two on the ship. We also did the Patriot cruise which was reasonably priced and informative. The Winery and wine tasting was great..bottles reasonably priced. Shops were fun to look in, but items were extremely over priced. The Christmas shop had some unique ornaments that were good values. We ate at Marco's and Ava's. Both were priced reasonably for the area and the food was excellent. Initially, we had planned to stay in St. Michael's for 4 days, but only stayed for 2 due to the weather. We found that two days was enough for us to do and see most of the sights..if we go again we would probably go during the summer as quite a few of the shops/eateries were only open on the weekends after Labor Day. Overall a perfect romantic getaway, especially for mature couples.
Room Tip: All rooms are at floor level..access to pools and breakfast is convenient.
