My husband and I just returned from a very romantic and relaxing stay at Dr. Dodson's. This was our first B&B experience and it was one to remember. Janet our hostess was very nice and a pleasure to talk with, as well as a great cook. The breakfasts were very good and well presented. We stayed in the Dodson room, it was very comfortable and inviting with a fireplace and access to the outside porch. We did not want for anything, if we needed something Janet to took care of it. It is located on a side street so it was quiet but in walking distance to just about everything. I loved hearing the church bells ringing nearby. There are lots of dining choices and unique shops to browse around. It was a memorable 20th anniversary trip for us and we would stay with Janet again if we are in St. Michaels.

“Great Stay at Dr. Dodson's”

This is an adorable B&B steps away from everything. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Dr. Dodson's as well as our conversations with Janet (host) over her delicious breakfasts. If you're looking for a cute B&B in an excellent location then this is your place!

We had a relaxing and peaceful stay at Dr. Dodson House during our recent weekend trip to St. Michaels. Dr. Dodson is in a great location, on a quiet and pretty street near the harbor and also near Talbot St for eating and shopping. The breakfasts that Janet cooked were delicious, and she was very friendly to talk to. The only minor complaint we have is that it is an old, historic home so as expected it could use a little TLC in some areas.

Thank you for taking the time to write a great review of your stay at Dr. Dodson House! We closed this winter for some major TLC renovations - I think you would enjoy the freshly painted porches and new furniture that makes it a fantastic place to relax! A thorough spring cleaning has us ready to greet our guests for this, our 19th season! The gardens are blooming too! Please come enjoy St. Michaels again. Great house, location, room, fireplace, and host! Breakfast was amazing and served with a plesant smile and conversation with the lovely hostess Janet. Highly recommended!

“Great Location wonderful friendly Owners”

Just stayed at the Dr. Dodson house on Sept 23 - 25, 2011. The place is well maintained, clean and Janet is extreemly accomondating and friendly. The location is excellent for both waterfront dining and walking Talbot Street. Janet prepared a wonderful breakfast both days with a never ending coffee pot. Her suggestions for dinner and local taverns made our stay very enjoyble. We would highly recommend this location for anyone wishing to enjoy the total package of what St. Michael's has to offer.
