I had read excellent reviews on their website and so booked there, due to time constraint, did not check TripAdvisor website till enroute.
The fact that it is an exterior hotel which was not in their description, I had to return to the front desk to have the keys reprogrammed as I could not open the door (which after a 12 hour drive one is tired); the TV in the bedroom had a red hue to it which made viewing of it difficult .. I called the front desk and they offered to change my room, but we were already in our jammies for the night. The next morning, the shower went from tepid to unbearably hot, and there was no one at the sink.
I cancelled out and went to another hotel.
On another note, whilst I was being attended to by the disgruntled evening shift receptionist, I felt she was rude to the guest who could not get onto the internet from her room ... the guest could not see the body language which I saw.
It is also about half a mile from the Interstate, though it is right alongside I-270, in a lonely area, not well lit.

First I was a bit nervous after reading negative reviews but I have no other choice since I won the bid from priceline (with bonus money from priceline, I paid less than half of published price). I was especially worried about "credit card number theft" claim but fortunately nothing happened to me. If the owner of Chase Hotel reads tripadvisor reviews (all owners definitely should read), they should at least clear the claim or mention what corrective action has been taken towards staff's criminal activities/abuse. Owner should also listen to valid complaint of many reviewers regarding noise from nearby I-270 highway. I have been to many hotels near highway but this place is the worst I've ever been. Rooms at the end of the hotel are facing the highway and it is super noisy for more than 20 hours/day. There are many empty rooms in the hotel and so owner should avoid to fill up those noisy, evil rooms first.

Positives:
- Very efficient check in and check out. Breakfast is definitely more than "just cereals" as some reviewers claimed. I saw sausage patties and scrambled eggs (standard for most American Hotels) at a separate counter from cereals, milk section . Or those things are improved because of new management??
- Free WiFi is very nice and is available at high speed anywhere in the hotel (although hotel is a very spread out one). Good job!!
- Near highway I-270 is, in some way, good unless you are in a room next to it.
- Rooms are a bit dated (with old but perfectly running heater) but they are clean.
- Hotel also offers free shuttle to up to 5 miles radius.
- Elevators available and this definitely help carrying bags to 2nd and 3rd floors.

I have stayed here 3 times before, on weekends, and have found it to be just fine, for the price. The upgraded rooms are very nice, tho housekeeping is unpredictable.

I stayed during the week this last time, and also chose the cheaper, non-upgraded room.

Choose the room upgrade!!! And during the week, the hotel is largely populated with construction workers, not the same vibe as the families and tourists that stay on the weekends.

Also, due to a change in management, they no longer have a liquor license...too bad. Staff at desk were not sure when they would get it back.

An OK hotel for families (lots of room, breakfast is a plus, full kitchen (with room upgrade), separate sleeping area with 2 TVs). But weekday clientele is sketchy.

All hotel rooms are accessed from the outdoors. You can't go in the cold weather wearing pajamas to get ice at this hotel! This hotel has a motel-feel to it. Not at all what I expected from what I saw on their website. The shuttle bus takes too long so I couldn't even use it. Front desk was horrible; they took too long to do what other hotels can do in a minute. I had bites on my legs in the morning; had to iron my bed the next night in order to sleep. I don't recommend this at all.
