7/24/2010 - We needed a place to stay in the Salisbury MD area and due to a softball tournament all hotels in the vacinity were booked. We finally found something at the Days Inn in Pocomoke City, which was about 40 minutes from where we needed to stay, but this was no problem as we considered ourselves lucky to find something. We checked in and found the rooms as such; The curtains looked as though they were dragged behind someones car. The pillow cases as well as the wash cloths were either dirty or stained, regardless they should have been discarded. There was hair and dust under the sink area, and the toilet ,well use your imagination. The window lock was broken and we would have had to take all of our belongings with us whenever we left the room. We couldnt grab our things fast enough to check out! As our car was more attrctive then this place!

1. Rude desk person, look so depressed I thought he was going to kill himself.
2. Dirty wash cloth with a brown reside on them. Maybe someone used it before they put me in the room.
3. Very small bathroom with free running rusty water.
4. So smelly and dirty my dog threw up in there.
5. No one spoke English.
6. Days Inn should be ashamed of this hotel.

One good thing is if you are forced to stay because all other motels are book, there is a bar called the Green Turtle so you can get drunk and forget about the Indian owners

Arrived late at night tired was automatically disgusted with appearance of room but stayed anyway. We woke the next morning itching from what we believe were bed bugs. The shower smelled of rusty pipes and the towels looked and smelled like they had already been used.

We stopped at this place because we were heading to the Outer Banks and wanted a 1/2 way point to sleep. I was traveling with my wife, parents, and dog and we got a 2 bedroom room to stay with my dog.

What a dirty place!

Had water stains ALL over the bathroom, toilet, shower, and sink ?
Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages.

Even stepped on a bug crawling across the floor!

I did mention to the guy as we checked out early and headed to NC, that our room was horrible and he did not seem to care at all.

Not even good enough for a pet to stay in!
