The bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned in awhile. There was (someone else's) hair in the bathtub. There were brown smears on the bathroom door. On two occasions we had to remove the toilet tank top to jiggle the valve to make the toilet flush. The coffeepot was dirty.

At checkout, the guy at reception had nothing to say about any of this.

My friend and I deemed the bathroom too dirty to bathe in, so we waited until we got home to take our showers.

I won't stay in any Days Inn motel again.

Stop in Pocomoke on business. Booked a room for three nights. After first night I woke to at-least a hundred bites on me. So I go to the office and nicely tell the lady about the problem. First words out of her mouth "I'll check you out of the room and you can leave!" She claimed that they have never had bugs or even a complaint about them in the five years she has worked there. This has got to be a lie! Hotels got bedbugs no matter how many stars they have; and this one is old, run down, even the water smells like rust ( no joke ). The towels and sheets are stained brown from the nasty water. So don't stay here. Scrubbing yourself with steel wool and poisoning all your bags and close to kill the bug when you should be working or vacationing SUCKS.

Passing through on our way to VA Beach, and couldn't drive any longer... If we weren't all dead tired, we would have kept driving because these place was just awful. It was almost entirely deserted and the bed linens were so ratty I didn't even use them. Just bundled up in some things I had in the car. Couldn't wait to move on. The only thing this hotel has going for them is that they happen to be in a convenient location on a stretch of road where there isn't much else.

7/24/2010 - We needed a place to stay in the Salisbury MD area and due to a softball tournament all hotels in the vacinity were booked. We finally found something at the Days Inn in Pocomoke City, which was about 40 minutes from where we needed to stay, but this was no problem as we considered ourselves lucky to find something. We checked in and found the rooms as such; The curtains looked as though they were dragged behind someones car. The pillow cases as well as the wash cloths were either dirty or stained, regardless they should have been discarded. There was hair and dust under the sink area, and the toilet ,well use your imagination. The window lock was broken and we would have had to take all of our belongings with us whenever we left the room. We couldnt grab our things fast enough to check out! As our car was more attrctive then this place!
