This Hilton is connected with the Baltimore Fitness and Tennis facility. Just ask for a free guest pass and use over a dozen treadmills, 5 or 6 bikes plus the cross country things. This is a real fitness center including the machines At least a dozen and loads of free weights. The pool was not open during our February stay but it looks like it too is part of the fitness club and it is huge!
The hotel is recently renovated. As you walked in the marble foyer the sitting area in, front of a burning fireplace, was very inviting although not huge. Our entire posted requests were taken care of before our arrival. Our south facing room provided a view of the pool and was reasonably quiet except for the fire trucks and ambulances through the night. The other side of the building faces the Baltimore belt (695) and I was happy not to be on that side. The room was clean and had everything you would need; by not staying in Baltimore proper you save $25 - $32 per night in hotel parking fees. The restaurant is quite nice (white linens and nicely decorated). The bar area is also well appointed, three TVs and lots of tables in addition to seats at the bar.
The best part of the entire experience was the courtesy and efficiency of the staff. Every single person worked to make our stay perfect. All questions were answered by who ever you spoke with and they seemed to know the area and there jobs well. Thank You!
The short coming, you can’t make a renovated room larger. The bedroom area was fine, desk, TV, night stand, King Bed; but the bathroom was strictly for one person at a time. Bottom line, would I recommend it, Definitely, yes.
