My wife I and decided to go on alittle vacation after I came home from a bussiness trip. So after reviewing different places that we had been in the past, I decided to take her some where that she had never been before (Ocean city MD). I had traveled here about 2 years ago with my son as a weekend retreat.
I made reservation and told her to sit back and enjoy the ride. We checked in on tuesday and she was very happy with speed of our check in. Only 5 minutes, and the staff was really friendly and pleasant. Our room was comfortable with a great view of the little tiki bar, pool area with alittle side view of the beach. The balcony was also another great feature along with the kitchenette and full size refrig. Our room was clean and the Tv was placed a good position for anybody in the room to see.
They also have a inside parking area, so you don't have to get into a hot car for those day outtings. Their located near serveral attractions including minture golf, light house, good dinning and a transit hub. They are less then a block from the beach to boot.
My only problem with the places (which isn't a big deal) is that the water in the shower will change temprature for no reason at all, Hot to cold then back to hot. Becareful if you have children that may use the showers. I also think they should have a another entrance into the pool area so that you don't have to go pass a bunch of drunk vacationers who are at the TIKI bar to enter the pool.
All in all for the money.. Its not a bad place and I will return again.

When we booked a week at the Econo Lodge in March, little did we know it would collide with Hurricane Irene. The staff at the motel, especially Marsha and Kelly were so accommodating, so friendly, and so competent, that we only missed one day due to weather. The room was large and immaculate. It had a well-stocked kitchenette, a modern bathroom, and a great flat screen TV. The location is great. We hope to be back next year!

Really nice place and GREAT front desk staff!!! Very close to the beach and a GREAT PRICE for families on a budget. Will stay on our next trip to OC. Close to great food and a mini golf right across the street. Room size is nice, as we had 5 on our trip and it worked out nice. Cleaning staff was honest.

Our family was hesitant regarding the Econo Lodge as our family had a previous experience with this hotel brand in another city. However, the price was right and the location was perfect. The hotel was clean and the staff polite and professional. The room was a good size, 2 double beds and pullout sofa, with a table and 4 chairs for eating meals. Lots of elbow room for everyone. Kitchen area served our purposes. Minimal dishware, but what was there worked for us. We loved the location, next door to Delaware and a short walk to the ocean. Pool was great, restaurant we never ate at, but we heard was good from other hotel guests. Pool was very busy everyday with lots of families. The balconies were a good size too. Lots of parking - undercover or open lot depending on the size of your vehicle. We will bring our aerobed next year though. Mattress on sofabed was not too good. We will book here again next year! The first place we have found in Ocean City that is reasonably priced and clean that we will return to!
