“Excellent Stay”

Hotel was clean, comfortable & up to standards, far above "chain rating". Only downside was no free breakfast, but Denny's was attached (& with what I saved, paying for breakfast was not an issue. We had a convention in a neighboring hotel that was almost twice as much per night (those who stayed at that hotel met us at Denny's for breakfast so it worked out great). Did not use pool, but wi-fi worked as it should have.

Great clean room, friendly staff, beds too soft for me, pool smelled of chlorine. Will definitely come again

“Great View on the Bay Side”

Parts of this hotel were old and parts were newly renovated. The old parts were the lobby and the pool areas. The indoor pool was fairly large and heated and but the area surrounding it needed some TLC. The rooms looked like they had been recently updated and the view on the bay side was spectacular at sunset. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom was clean. The location of this hotel is quite far from the boardwalk, but is just across the street from the beach. The Gold Coast mall nearby is very small and probably not worth the effort to go. This hotel does not supply free continental breakfast like most Choice hotels do. The adjacent Denny's was OK, but a little rundown.

Room Tip: Rooms on the bay side are more scenic

It served the purpose -- I was here on business but would definitely stay elsewhere if it were a pleasure trip. There are much nicer options up and down the street for around the same price.
