“Best Little Inn on the Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 June 2011

My boyfriend and I just returned from a 2 night stay at this wonderful Inn. The Inn is right on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. We stayed in the Canopy room on the second floor. Although we didn't have the ocean view, the room is very cozy, with a queen size bed, and a nice jacuzzi tub which I took full advantage off both nights we were there. Housekeeping is done every morning. Breakfast was served fresh every morning from 9 to 10. Breakfast is cooked from scratch from Vicki's cookbook. Every morning the breakfast is different. You start out with a plate of fruits, pastry, and fruits. Then the entree finishes the presentation. Depending on the weather, the breakfast in either served in the dining room or the veranda. However, when we were there, it was on the porch. So while you are enjoying the company of the guests at your table, the food, you also will be enjoying the beautiful view. For those of you that do no want to socialize with other guests, you may always request a table to yourself. So they are very accomodating to your needs.

We went during Senior Week, so needless to say, there were alot of high school students on the beach. The teenagers made it both rowdy and interesting at the same time. Especially at night, when you see these teenagers stumbling across the boardwalk. But don't think that this caused for an unpleasant trip. Rather, my boyfriend and I enjoyed the show from the comfort of the porch. There were cops on the boardwalk to oversee the orderly conduct of the teenagers, so nothing was out of hand.

The 7 mile long beach is one of the best on the east coast I must say. The beach is clean, sand is soft, and the water is clean. Although we didn't swim in the water as it is still very cold during June, it was just so nice to still be able to layout and enjoy a book on the beach.

Needless to say, if you and your significant other or just a girls weekend away, you should definitely stay at this inn!

“A wonderful city getaway!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2010

We stayed at the Inn for two nights over a holiday weekend and it could not have been nicer. We've been to a number of bed and breakfasts, but it was really easy to feel at home here. There was nothing nicer than waking up to the sound of the ocean in late fall. And eating wonderful food while looking out the window at the surf made for a great breakfast too. More than worth the easy 2 1/2 hour drive from the city! Very, very relaxing!

“Overpriced for quality of service”

The only thing this Inn has going for it is location. The innkeepers are tired and worn out. Promised icea tea and homemake cookies for afternoon snack. Didn't happen. A cold drink would have been nice. Algae-type mess floating in jacuzzi tub after filling it. While eating breakfast outside in the morning, another couple (who were delightful) were served coffee at breakfast. When I asked for a cup I was told to get it myself in the house. We paid over $300 for an oceanfront room and that is all we got. Nothing more, nothing special. Do not waste your money at this Inn. These owners need to sell to more enthusiastic people. This could be an awesome B&B.

Thank you for your comments . We take all praise and criticism seriously. We are not "tired and worn out " and we love being owners of a beautiful oceanfront inn. I wish you had let us know about the jacuzzi problem. The jets are cleaned regularly and we apologize for this inconvenience. I certainly would have been upset too if i visited somewhere and this occurred. The coffee station is set up for rthe guest's convenience so that if we are busy serving, the guest will not be inconvienced. We make every effort to accommodate each guest's requests. We hope you will return to Ocean City and give us another chance to make your stay a fabulous one.

“Another fantastic getaway at a our "gem on the beach"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2010

Just returned from our 3rd vacation in as many years at the Inn on the Ocean B&B in Ocean City, MD. My wife and I stayed for 3 days with another couple. We all just LOVE this place. The Inn is clean, comfy with nicely appointed rooms. The breakfasts are positively outstanding and the location is the ultimate. You can spend each morning watching the joggers/bikers on the beach, the dolphins jumping along the shoreline and the beautiful sunrise - all from a rocking chair on the front porch. It just doesn't get much better. In the afternoon you can collect rays from the sun porch or use the beach chairs and towels provided for you and lay on the beach. The Innkeepres, Charlie and Vickie, are lovely hosts. We are soooo glad we found this gem 3 yrs ago. We plan on returning here for many, many years to come !!! Oh, and don't forget to go to Fresco's if you want a memorable dinner in a beautiful setting.
