this place was the absolute most horiible place i have ever stayed anywhere. The old creepy manager would just stare into our room 24 /7 can you say peeking tom?. My friends came to meet me in the afternoon one of the days so we could all go to the beach together and i wasnt quite ready yet so i let them in my room to wait. Well the manger came up banging on the door and told them since they wernt staying there they had to get off his property! i mean seriously come on? There was NO maid service and mold all over the bathroom walls as well. I would recommend to sleep in your car rather then to stay here!

Do not stay in this motel!!!! I had the worst vacation experience ever here, the owners treated us like children, they sat in their chairs in the parking lot eating food and watching the guests like hawks!!! they even watched in the middle of the night, I would look out and find the man standing in the parking lot looking at my window. Our friends were staying in the room directly next to us, and we couldn't even visit each others rooms without them giving us problems, it was absolutely ridiculous!! we ended up leaving one day early and lost the money we paid because it was so bad...also the maid service was terrible, we had the same yucky towels all weekend. If you want to feel like you're staying in a college dorm then this would be the place for you.

This motel is the best, right by the board walk and beach.I like how they make you feel comfortable and right at home. The price is great and the room I was in had valuable furniture. This motel isprobably one of the best motels I have ever stayed in.It wasnt just me that loved it my wife also thought it was awesome to!

I stayed at surfside 8 Motel for bike week 2007. I have seen another review before I stayed there .They said how bad it was....................................... THEY WERE WRONG!!!!! The rooms(the whole aparment) were nice and clean with a smell of freshness.They had house keeping that came every day and went above just cleaning the room, they asked every time they came if we needed any thing elce after they were done cleaning the room. I have stayed about every where and I can honestly say I would rather stay at surfside 8 than anyother place down there. Casey dose a good job running place and keeps a good eye on the cars .....Bike in my case........And knows who should be there or not. If you are going to ocean city I recommend that you stay here and if you have any problems talk to Casey (he runs the place) I am sure he would make things right for you ........I dont think think you would have any complants though .I can"t do anything but give compliments to this place.I am going to stay there every time I am in ocean city, as long as its not booked up!!!!!!!!!!
