My family of 5 stayed at the Hilton for few days the week before Thanksgiving, due to a reasonable promotional rate. The lobby was lovely, as was the room. We especially loved the ocean view and decent sized patio.

The room was very nicely appointed, and the bathroom was fabulous. Great shower, double sink, jacuzzi tub-loved it. The kitchen area seemed to have everything one would need to prepare meals-right down to a blender! Having the two televisions with DVD players was a great bonus for a family.

The hotel staff was great. My in-laws stayed in another room in which the bathroom sink was clogged and not draining. A quick call to the desk and about 10 minutes total later, the sink was fixed. We had a major car issue on day one of our trip, and the staff was very helpful in finding us phone numbers for car repair shops and car rental agencies.

We didn't eat in the restaurant or use the indoor pool during our stay, but it looked nice enough. Unfortunately, due to miserable rainy and cold weather, we didn't use the beach either, but it looked like a nice stretch. The Starbucks cart in the lobby was a plus as well.

All in all, we were very satisfied with both the quality, cleanliness, and overall experience of this stay. So much so that we have already booked a trip for the Spring! The only issue I have with this hotel is the ridiculous room price during the summer season. That being said, all hotels are ridiculous during the summer in OC.

The Hilton is one of the nicest properties in Ocean City. The off season rates make a weekend getaway very doable. My husband and I took my 8 yr old daughter and her friend and they had a blast in the indoor pool. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed with full size fridge, microwave and oven. While many things are closed in January, however indoor mini-golf is available as is the indoor "Playland" Arcade at the Inlet. Plenty to enjoy for an overnight break.

My husband and I were looking for a one night getaway for our anniversary. The Hilton did not disappoint. I booked through priceline and selected a king room. When we checked in, we were given a king corner suite! I couldn't believe how much room there was in our suite. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. I can see a family staying here in the summer with plenty of room for everyone. The room was very clean and everything was in working order. We were given plenty of extra towels and the toiletries we were given were much better than at a regular hotel. We checked in around 4pm and headed to the indoor pool for a swim before dinner. The pool was a nice size and warm. There was a window where you could get bar service also. The pool was open 5 am to midnight every day. We did not eat dinner at the hotel, instead we went to Seacrets and enjoyed 1/2 price entrees and their drink specials. Even in the off-season there was enough of a variety of places to choose from for dinner in Ocean City. The next day, we took advantage of the jacuzzi tub. My husband and I are very tall people and we were both able to fit in the tub. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows in the closet along with robes. I found the towels to be nice and fluffy. They didn't feel rough and bleached like other hotel towels. Since we had the corner suite, our jacuzzi tub was separate from the shower. In the shower, there were 2 regular shower heads and a rainfall shower head. Very relaxing! There really weren't any downsides other than in the room next to ours there were a couple of kids. We never heard them unless they were out in the hallway slamming their door. Other than that, we couldn't hear them. We had a great relaxing stay at the Hilton for our anniversary getaway. We were talking about making it an annual tradition. If we could afford to stay during the summer season, we would. But since our anniversary is in the off-season we'll take the great off-season rate!! Can't beat it!!

First it is important to say that the location of this hotel is ideal. It is right on the beach- not close to the beach but right there. Every room has an ocean view with a large balcony.

The service was similarly excellent. The front desk staff was helpful and polite and provided very good local recommendations for our weekend getaway.

As a Diamond member I've stayed at Hiltons everywhere. What this hotel is NOT is a luxury property.

The rooms are large- family style suites, with two rooms and kitchens..but the fit and finish is Hampton Inn level. To be fair- the bed was extremely comfortable and the jetted tub and rain shower were very nice.

Do not expect top or even mid level Hilton luxury rooms, expect clean and functional.

In particular this hotel would be great for a family staying for a beach vacation, with the large fridge, complete dish set, oven, dishwasher, microwave, even a dishwasher- not to mention fold out couch and second flat screen TV in the living room.

There is a well equipped and clean fitness room and an indoor pool as well. We had lunch in the restaurant and the staff was lovely although the food was only fair and expensive.

The strength of this hotel is the great location and staff. The rooms aren't bad, they are pretty good, just functional rather than luxurious. Eat elsewhere and focus on the lovely beach and terrific helpful staff and you will really enjoy this hotel. Just don't expect luxury.
