Block from the beach. Average hotel but clean. Desk people were very friendly. Bathroom is very very small. Efficiency with stove, oven and refrig. Have stayed there the past 2 years and will stay there again.

We stayed at the Sea Hawk in early July, 2010, and liked the place so much we went back in Sept., 2011. The Sea Hawk is an old place but it's well maintained and very clean. We like having the convenience of a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator for simple breakfasts and lunch to give your wallet a break. The only thing that would make the accomodations better would be a coffee pot in the unit but there's always fresh coffee available in the office. The beach is a short walk away and you can find everything you need - groceries, restaurants and souvenir shopping - within a few blocks of the Sea Hawk. We'll be heading back there in May, 2012.

We recently stayed at this motel, and were very satisfied. It is well maintained, super clean, and a great location. The staff was friendly and kept the place really nice. Our room was big and very clean.
We will return to the Sea Hawk on our next trip to Ocean City.

This motel is locally run. They are not trying for fancy. They go for clean, friendly, close to the beach, and quiet. The pool closed at 8 pm which contributed to the quiet. Even though it is right next to the coastal highway, you don't hear the car noise. Our immaculate room was large with 2 queen beds and a nice sleeper sofa. Plenty of room for 5 teen girls and Mom.
We intended to go back again the end of August. I was disappointed to have to cancel due to illness (and glad I did when the hurricane hit!) The front desk staff was so nice about it and offered sincere get well wishes.
Located 6 miles from the "action" of the board walk but the bus stops across the street and runs frequently. Don't bother driving to the boardwalk. The bus is part of the experience!
