I've stayed at the Princess Bayside twice - once for St. Patrick's Day and mostly recently for New Year's Eve. The hotel is a little dated but fairly well maintained. It is decorated with all of the seafoam green and coral colored furniture and beach scene paintings you'd expect, but for someone that doesn't spend a lot of time in the room it fit my purposes quite well. I really appreciate that the rooms have mini-refrigerators and microwaves, as I drink a lot of water and like to bring back my leftovers for lunch. I usually stay on weekends so I haven't had a chance to experience their breakfast. The pool looks nice but I haven't used it. I also like that there is a bar downstairs, although I always walk over to Seacrets for my evening entertainment.

The view from our room of the water was lovely. The private beach is tiny tiny, but there are nice watersports being offered and kids could play in the sand. It is a short walk over the main drag to get to the beach. The crowds hanging around at night are not the greatest. Loud drunks. It is near a large club, I forget the name now. The rooftop pool, again more of a college scene--great fun if that is what you are looking for, but kids with beer bongs in the pool and ripping wall paper from the walls at night. The hallways had a very funny smell, but to be fair that might have been cleaning agents. A pick on my part. I listened to favorable reviews and chose to ignore negatives and that was a mistake in the instance. This is not a great hotel and I would only say stay here if you are looking to party with the younger set, even at early thirties I felt too grown up for the crowd.

This was one of the best outing that we have had. The Princess Bayside Staff took extreme care to ensure that our group was without any needs. Each of our golf members had nothing but good things to say about their rooms and the quality of the hotel. I highly recommend it to other golf organizations.

Excellent, spacious, and well decorated room in a great location with wonderful view of the bay.
