I was very dissapointed in ths hotel. The web site showed a beautiful outdoor pool along the boardwalk which excited my children. Uopn my arrival no outdoor pool only to find the dirtiest indoor pool I have ever seen with a cool dirty water jacuzzi. The first 2 days the shower worked but the 3rd some plumbing problem . No running water for most of the day and minimal water pressure to wash off after a long day with the kids on the beach. I paid $320.00 a night for 3 nights and they could not even have updated plumbing. I paid extra for ocean view but the small print on the reservation said "sideview" The entire hotel faces toward the ocean or side. I felt like I payed extra for nothing. I felt cheated from a dishonest hotel and would never return.

I am writing to tell you that my family and I had a very enjoyable time at this hotel. We stayed for four nights and we could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The manager, Mary Susan, is absolutely the best hotel manager that we have ever met. She not only went out of her way to make us comfortable, but we also witnessed her being nice and helping out other guests.

We had an oversized vehicle and she literally met us in the parking garage and showed us exactly where to park!

She, herself, went and got us a luggage cart!

We did have a slight issue with housekeeping and she took care of it immediately! And we witnessed she did the same with another guest!

So nice, friendly, it felt like home. One of the main reasons we have already booked for 2010 is because of Mary Susan.

We reserved an oceanfront room for three nights. We arrived to find out we were on the second floor with a balcony that was right over an awning. If you sat in the chair, you could not see the ocean, just the awning which was covered in bird poop, trash and cigarette butts. The hotel is non-smoking, but for some reason they allow guests to smoke on the balcony. As I was standing there, someone in one of the rooms above us dropped a cigarette butt and it landing on the awning right in front of me. I spoke with the front desk and was told that there were no other oceanfront rooms available. We eventually settled for a street side room with an ocean view.

First, after viewing the property online, we called the 800 reservations number to make a reservation. They booked us for the inn and not the plaza. When we tried to get it corrected, the staff at the plaza, namely front desk agents, Jamal and Malsma, were terribly rude. To add insult to injury, Jamal LAUGHED in my face about the mix up. They were unapologetic, uncooperative and lied about resolving the situation. Staying oceanfront here is not worth it!! To give customer service a rating of 0 would only be a compliment. Spend your money elsewhere, DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!.
