We stayed at this hotel for the first time and were greeted by 3 choices of baked cookies on the reception desk! A place to make our evening tea(or hot chocolate, if we desired) rounded out the nice little things that make a place welcoming. Room was clean and quiet and had lots of room to spread out with our stuff:-))..We were pleasantly surprised to see a full breakfast in the morning consisting of scrambled or boiled eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, yogurt and a supply of cereals. We will definitely plan our trips to see our PA family to stop here on our way up....it's a winner

Nice Best Western that's easy to find on Route 301 - the main road through La Plata. Check -in and check-out were easy and fast. The king room was nicely decorated and the microwave, refrigerator, bottled water and free wi-fi were appreciated additions. The bed and linen were comfortable and the quiet setting provided a good night's sleep. The closet was nicely designed; providing space for hanging clothes as well as easy-to-reach shelving. The free continental breakfast was great and included corned beef hash, biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled and boiled eggs, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, assorted muffins and pastries, juices, coffee, hot chocolate and assorted teas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the bathroom floor needed to be swept/vacuumed - but I'm very picky about cleanliness. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Very nice. Comfortable clean room. Continental Breakfast wasn't bad and the coffee was great.

After reading the reviews on this site I decided to stay there for a night while I was touring Maryland. The room was spotless, the staff very friendly and free continental breakfast elegant. I spent a quiet and restful night on a very comfortable mattress.

I used the AARP / Senior discount which made the already good price 10% lower.

Lots of shopping and eating opportunities nearby and thought it is on a major highway I heard no noise in my room.

I would stay there again anytime and recommend it for everyone.
