“Thanks to Larry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

The hotel was perfectly OK but what I found really outstanding was Larry, the person who was in front desk as we arrived. We had a problem with our hired car and he was so kind and helpful that we have no words to thank him. We tried to find this hotel email to tell him how much we appreciate what he did for us but we didn't manage, that's why I decided to write this review.

Most of times people are what make an experience really different so, as far as we are concerned, Larry was that person.

Thank you again, Larry.

“Didn't like it the last time I stayed here, guess I'm a slow learner”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

Hotel ratings are fairly simple.
1.) Is it clean? Yes it was
2.) is the bathroom usable? Never took a shower in a hotel that didn't have a fan in the
bathroom. Talk about fog!
3.) Are the beds comfortable? During the night the sheets came off the bed, perhaps
because of the lumps in the bed?
4.) Is the room temperature ok? Yes it was
5.) Is it quiet? Perhaps to the people yelling in the halls!

If your traveling, write Hagerstown off your possible places to stay.

I looked back in my records and it was $99 a night, this trip $119. Ok, so I should have gone to a Motel 6.

“Great Hotel! We would stay again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

The hotel was clean and inexpensive and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. We arrived a little earlier than expected and they went out of their way to accomodate and get us into a room quickly. The breakfast in the am had a lot of options and the attendant was so polite and kind. We would definitely stay here again.

“Safe, Comfortable, Enjoyable Stopover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

We stopped in Hagerstown on a stopover en route to Virginia Beach. Upon arrival, our check-in was seemless and the front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. Once we got our room, it was exactly what I had booked online and the great AAA/CAA rate that had been guaranteed to me. The beds were comfortable, as was the temperature control system in our room, and the ammenities were clean, well-maintained and easily accessible. We did not use the pool as it was pouring out (it's an outdoor pool) but it also looked well-maintained and well-stocked in terms of towels, etc.
The breakfast the following morning was fresh, well-stocked, and the hosts were very polite and helpful.
Also, the lobby was well-stocked with brochures of surrounding sites and restaurants, which greatly helped us as we plan on travelling this route again, so we have things to see and do in advance should we arrive early or decide to extend our stay. We went for a walk in the surrounding suburb which was peaceful and pleasant.
My family and I would travel to this Hampton Inn again without hesitation and had a great stay.

Room Tip: Use your CAA/AAA discount/privileges.

“Great little hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2011

Stayed last minute to catch a minor league baseball game and do some outlet shopping. Hotel was reasonably busy but got a nice AAA deal. Room was clean, everything worked, pool was nice. Breakfast was more than adequate and service was friendly and helpful. Would go back.
