Rooms were very nice and clean
Pool was awesome and grounds were great
amount was very reasonable

I want to start by saying this is a pretty nice hotel. However, most of the fitness equipment doesn't work, and one of our group found bedbugs in their room (Rm 156). There were blood spots from the bugs found in the morning and upon investigation - many of the actual bugs found under the mattress and at base of bed. The hotel refunded 100% of the two nights, but after a lot of discussion.

Also, we had some key card problems that had to be dealt with and the repair of a toilet tank assembly. 4 rooms, 2 nights. Overall, our group enjoyed the stay - but the owners/management are not very sharp. There was a manager that was a Breakfast Voucher "policeman" each morning. Funny.

Nice Hotel. Plenty of parking. I was on the Pool/Atrium side, so it was not so quiet, but that's what ear plugs are for. I wasn't disturbed by the noise as it was not very loud. Just a lot of kids having fun at the pool.
Otherwise, nice stay.

We stayed at the hotel for the 2nd time. Unfortunately the beginning of our stay was not very friendly as the front desk person (male) was not really interested in working or being friendly that day. The front desk is the face of the hotel-and the person working should be upbeat and friendly to convey appreciation of the guests. We had booked and had confirmation of a room with a King bed. Upon arrival we were placed in a room with 2 beds. The front desk person did change it. It is also important to note that a safe fee is automatically included witht the room. It can be removed if you are not using the safe.
Our room was fine. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. One of our towels was dirty...but we know that can happen and we just didn't use it. Coffee maker and refrigerator were in the room, and the room was very spacious. The Wifi worked very well.
We had dinner at the adjoining Barefoot Bernies. We have been here 3 times, and it was actually the reason we decided to stay at this hotel last year for the first time. I did write a review of the restaurant-which we absolutely love!!
Breakfast in the morning was a little different this year. We were given coupons that they have signs all over the place that they will be collected. We brought ours to breakfast, but noone asked for them. Breakfast was the usual fare-waffles were good. There was not any fresh fruit-but they did have a fruit cocktail type offering.
Overally, we may have given this a 5 star had the front desk check-in person been friendly and welcoming. We were excited to be there, and it quickly took the wind out of our sail. On the contrary, when we checked out in the morning the girl was very nice and friendly. If you have any questions we would be glad to answer them.
