Plenty of parking, easy to find, walking distance to some of the restaurants and bars on Kent Narrows. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They switched my room for me and when I couldn't find my AAA card, they went ahead and gave me the discount and told me to just show the card later (which I did..it was buried in my suitcase). The free breakfast was good, not huge but adequate offering waffles, fixings for breakfast sandwiches, cereal and pastries.
My first room was on the third floor facing the highway. The hotel does have a single elevator but it’s on the opposite end of the office so you may want to leave your luggage in the car until you know where you are going to be (there is parking in the elevator-end of the hotel). I asked for a non-smoking room and when I opened the door (which had a non-smoking sign) it reeked of smoke. Also, there is a lot of noise coming from the highway so if you are a light sleeper you may want to request a room facing the water. The staff had no issue with changing my room and apologized for the inconvenience. Second room was better. The room was large. Furnishings are basic and functional, no frills. Heater worked fine. Bed was comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels and all fixtures worked. The carpet was a bit worn with a few stains.
Note: This hotel does allow pets. I had a real barker next door to me that obviously was not a travel pro that barked at every little thing. You may want to try and get a room away from guest traveling with pets.
