Arrived at 10 p.m. on a Thursday night. Could not find a single restaurant open except for Taco Bell and DQ. The hotel is old but has been refurbished. Left at 5:30 the next morning. The breakfast bar did not open until 6:30- only thing available was coffee for guests. Nothing fancy. Service personnel were adequate. Overall- it was a $ 50.00 room for about $100.00. If I was planing to stay longer than I did- it would have been at the Hilton Garden next door.

My wife and I were traveling to New Jersey on Friday and we decided to leave late afternoon, on Thursday, and travel to Kent Narrows, Grasonville, MD for seafood that evening as we had planned to visit the nearby outlet mall Friday morning before traveling to New Jersey. We stayed at the Best Western in a newly renovated guest room and our accommodations were perfect. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was so comfortable that we decided to sleep in on Friday and visit the outlet mall on the way back from New Jersey. The staff was extremely hospitable, particularly the breakfast attendee. A great hotel, at a great price, in a great area...spread the good word about this wonderful stay and place!!
Stayed Thursday, November 3, 2011, traveled with wife.

We stayed here for a nearby wedding since the Hilton Garden Inn was completely booked. We requested a non-smoking room, but had a smoking room because they were at capacity. The room smelled disgusting and I could barely breathe. I called down to complain, but the phone was out of order. Besides, they were at capacity. The hair dryer started smoking when I turned it on, great. The heat lamp in the bathroom did not turn off, even though it had a timer. Both of these things aren't fire hazards at all? Lobby had free burnt popcorn, but I guess we just came late. The bed was VERY uncomfortable. Coffee maker in the room seemed like it has never been cleaned.

There were some pros - there was a pool! It was small, but still a pool! The tv in the room was very nice, flat screen and was very new. They also had HBO, which I guess more and more hotels have that now. The room was also pretty much clean, not spotless, but overall clean. The room was also quite big - there was enough space for a sitting area and a king sized bed. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were also very friendly.

We paid a LOT for this experience, as it was during a weekend where everyone had weddings, it seemed. We went over to the HIlton Garden Inn the next day for breakfast and I couldn't believe it was only an extra $40 to stay there (we had friends who told us what they paid) - it just seemed so much nicer.

I don't know what I expected from a Best Western, but I will never return to this one or another Best Western.

We have a family reunion every year in Grasonville, and stay at the Best Western. To our surprise they put in new carpets, a flat screen TV and much more. The place really looks great. We are looking forward to next years reunion. By the way, the staff is more than helpful and lets not forget about the breakfast which consists of everyone's dietary needs. Again nice place to stay and have fun.
