Rooms were clean, beds good. Bare minimum - no tissues, no hairdryers, or coffee pots. Not enough lamps/light. No breakfast on Sunday (we were aware of when we booked) . For about $10.00 more we should have chose a different hotel.

We stayed at the Casselman the weekend of June 29th. This is probably our 8th stay at this comfortable & clean establishment. What even attracts us to return periodically are the rates for the motor lodge. To find comparable rates for such a quaint establishment are few & far between.

The dining room is always clean. As many times as we've visited the restaurant, the service has always been hospitable, food delicious (plenty of it) and staff very professional/friendly. The baked goods are availabe daily with the exception of Sunday (closed).

We would highly recommend it to anyone for a delightful, comfortable & relaxing experience. It is only about 20 minutes away from Deep Creek Lake & WISP resorts.

We visited in June...a fine old home in a farmland setting, charming rooms, very comfortable & quiet, nice hiking trails. Very cordial, low-key innkeepers. And a killer breakfast. Highly recommended!
