The location of this SpringHill Suites is just off 270. It is close to Washingtonian Square, which has many shops and good restaurants; the Rio location is also there. We had an odd-number room on the 5th floor, and I thought when I entered that we had a problem with an open window, the traffic noise was so loud. The window was closed. and yes, it is that loud. The windows offer almost no sound barrier, even when the black-out curtains are closed. The air unit in the room is controlled by a thermostat, but is right next to the bed and also very loud. I had to use ear plugs to get a good night's sleep. If you book here, request a room on the other side (even-number rooms). I had a king-suite. Room had a bed, sofa, flat-screen lcd tv, mini-fridge, desk, microwave, and dressing area. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean, though they were not very soft. The bathroom was fine, though the shower was dark. Breakfast was good, even though the hotel was full during our stay, the food and drinks were kept well-stocked and the tables were cleaned quickly. Wi-Fi was slow, but the hotel was full, so that may have caused the problem. The pool area and whirlpool were clean, and the fitness room was fine. I would only stay here again if I could be assured a quieter room.
Room Tip: Request a room on the "quiet" (even-numbered) side!
