Just got back from a 2day stay, it's really a great place to relax if you like peace and quiet from the daily grind. Lots of great restaurants within a short distance. Rooms are lovely, we got a nite at the cottage w/living room and large bedroom. The owners and their family are truly so gracious & friendly. Nice breakfast buffet and we actually are becoming parents of two little doves just born days ago that were given to us by the owner. The only drawback is that we haven't been able to visit in warmer weather to make use of the hot tub outside..i'd recommend this to anyone..prices are fairly reasonable.

We just retuned from our weekend at Elk Forge. We were married in Elkton 44yrs ago, but didn't honeymoom there, wish we had. We stayed in the Coach Carriage house.Though needing some additional decorating, the queen size bed was so comfy. It had an efficientcy kitchen and dining area plus a large LV. There is an extra bedroom for noisy snorers! The breakfasts both AM's were delicious and in amazing surroundings, followed by an extra cup of coffee in the sitting room. Would definitely return or suggest to anyone needing time away.

My girlfriend and I spent two nights in December. It was quiet, room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, nothing fancy but a good variety to choose from. There are little trails to walk for some fresh air and I'm sure the stay would be nicer in the warmer months. Overall, I was more than satisfied and would definitely stay there again but my girlfriend likes trying out new things. The spa was pretty good too.

My parents stayed here for their anniversary for 2 nights. My sister & I arranged for them to stay there. They originally were in the Baltimore Room, but were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost to them. My mom said it was larger than her 2 bedroom condo in Florida. They enjoyed their time away & would recommend it to others.
