“I would say we were STOLEN!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2011

We stayed for two nights. In the morning after the first night we realized that there had been water dripping in the bathroom and the floor was flooded. We asked the manager to be moved to another room. He agreed. We changed all our personal belongings to the new room except for three items that we forgot in the old room by mistake.

In the second night, when we got to the hotel after visiting the town, we couldn't see the items anywhere. We asked the receptionist for our belongings in case the cleaner had found and given them to him. He looked for them in different places, even in the previous room, but they weren't found. The receptionist told us to inform the manager in the next morning. We did so.

The manager asked the cleaner by phone, since it was her day off, but she denied that she had found anything. Finally, we informed the police, who is investigating the case. After this terrible experience, We wouldn't recommend anybody to stay at that hotel.

“Vile, Disgusting Room”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2009

This was the worst motel room we have every seen. We booked non-smoking but was put into smoking and no other rooms available. The room reeked of mildew and cigarette smoke. I spent most of the night spraying Lysol to cut the horrific odor. The carpet was stained and shabby. The curtain has a mysterious stain across them that looked like it may have been vomit - we did not get close enough to confirm. The bedspread as visibly filthy and the pillows were flat and very old. The sheets may have been clean but we were not sure as they were discolored and frayed. We went to Walmart and bought sheets and pillows and slept over the motel linens. To top it off, there was a dirty sock left right next to the bed. YUCK!!!! We were there for an athletic event and everything was sold out - otherwise we would have left.

“Bedbugs everywhere!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2009

Booked 3 rooms for business puposes mainly because it was $30.00 less than the nearest competitor. All three rooms had bedbugs and the rooms were in different areas of the hotel. The bedbugs were even crawling on the walls. The rooms also smelled. The staff seemed indifferent to these problems and offered no apologies. We immediately checked out and payed the higher price for a better hotel. I realize you get what you pay for but there is no excuse for this. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

i appologized for the experience that guest had our hotel, unfortunately this things people bring with them, we have trashed every single things from room to eliminate this problem, and we have succeed , we completely shut this room and hired professinal company to eliminate the problem . I would like to object this comment, this guest had a 3 rooms, but only one room had a problem with this, not other two ,still we gave him a full refund without questions because this is not a small problem , we were very sorry about this.
thanks

“Overcharged..Overcharged..Overcharged”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2008

Rented 2 rooms for two nights this last Thurs and Frid.
Agreed on price of 71.50 per room per night..Luckily I had my laptop to check on Bank Statement and see they charged me 81.50 per room the first night and 93.50 per room the second night. They say it is common to over charge on a debit card. It's Monday morning and my Bank Statement has another charge of 143.00 from Econolodge in Easton...Econo main customer service is trying to fix this problem....meanwhile I wait...

“I agree, "what a dump". Had to fight 30 flies, 1 rat at dumpster!!!!!!”

Should have payed me 90 bucks to stay there!!! First room they gave me was next to the dumpster, the rats room. went in and saw about 30 flies, cigarettes butts on floor, TV didn't work. dead flies all over the place. Went to the head desk, got another stall, just as bad. No trash can, torn cover on bed, get this, they made a pillow out of a old sheet tied together. The GODS truth, if anybody can contact me with corporate ECONO lodge, contact bobchevelle65@aol.com
