Upon arriving in Easton, we drove to the Days Inn. When we saw the sign, we felt our mapquest was mistaken because the grass around the building was 12 to 18 inches tall, making the hotel appear deserted. After circling the building we did notice a car, so we entered the office through a door with a sign reading "No, No public bathroom." We chuckled at the "Business center" which was comprised of a computer and a desk. We were skeptical, but after driving over 9 hours decided to "check out" the room. Opening the door, we discovered the white outlines of work boots across the forest green un-vaccuumed carpet, further inspection found large spiders in the tub, and upon peeling-back the blankets, we were face-to-face with a 3X3 inch pile of dried semen surrounded by cigarette burns in the blanket. We immediately started the search for another hotel only to find out EVERY room in the entire town was taken. We returned and I carried the blanket, semen and all, to the front desk, threw it upon the counter and asked "Do you expect people to sleep in this?" The front desk person shrieked! She wouldn't even touch the filth. We drove 15 miles to the nearest Target and purchased $72 worth of linens of our own. For the next two nights we wore flip flops when crossing the floors and laid awake waiting on the bed bugs to attack. We were able to utilize the bathroom only after decontaminating with antibacterials. We never did figure out why the handful of toilet paper was jammed between the carpet and the base moulding, but were not about to pull it out. We walked around the huge blood stain at the top of the stairs leading to the parking lot and avoided touching the brick with chewing tobacco spittle dried upon it, that any pressure washer could remove in minutes. We booked this room through pet friendly hotel which listed it as the only one in town. However, we did find out two other hotels are pet friendly. Needless to say, we will never return. We did come face-to-face with the Indian owner and he never offered any compensation for our discomfort or disgust!!!
