“Nice place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2007

Stayed at this hotel for one night and it was pleasant, to say the least. It was easy to get to, easy and fast check-in, nice room, okay location, but there was a fire house really close. The sirens went off at all hours of the night and it sounded like it was right next door. The neighbors were also noisy, since the doors slam really loud.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a Denny's restaurant that you can walk to as well as a Dunkin' Donuts, Dairy Queen, Burger King, McDonald's and Taco Bell. The parking for the hotel was very convenient, as you can park right in front of your room.

The room was nice, had a very nice smell as you enter. Very spacious with a hairdryer, iron and board, coffee maker. The bed was a little too soft for me as well as the pillows. I prefer a firmer bed and pillow, so bring your own pillow if you don't like soft, or call the hotel to see if they have other pillows. The bathroom was very small as you have to close the door before you sit on the toilet or you won't be able to close it. The shower/tub was very spacious and the water pressure and temperature was perfect. I'm 5'5" and the shower was perfect for me; anyone over 6' might have a problem as the ceiling was only a couple inches above my head. But it was very spacious.

The free continental breakfast was great. They offer Fresh coffee, juices, milk, cereal, pastries, muffins, Belgian waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, and toast.

There didn't seem to be a "nice" restaurant in the area, so we had to drive about 15 minutes east on Rt. 50 to Cambridge and found Spicer's Seafood Restaurant. St. Michaels is about 15-20 minutes away as well.

“Good Overnight Stay”

This motel lives up to the Comfort Inn standards. Room was clean and comfortable. Site is on the older side with two buildings around a pool and common area with rooms inside and out. With quick directions at the front desk it took me a while to find my room. Price on the high side, but it's Chesapeake in the summer. I would stay here again.

“BEWARE: DIRTY LINENS”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2006

For starters, there was a lot of outside noise from fellow guests partying on the balcony overlooking the pool, but it was late afternoon and we really couldn't complain. Went to dinner, returned about 10pm and navigated dark outside stairwells. Very disturbing due to the woods near the hotel. We we were exhausted and immediately crawled into bed. Awoke in the morning to discover that the bed linens had not been changed! I will not describe the filth we found we had been sleeping in, but suffice it to say it was days before I began to feel clean, despite multiple baths and showers. We of course told management. Their reply? "We'll report it to housekeeping." No apology! I will never stay in another Comfort Inn. Ever. I will drive hundreds of miles out of my way to stay ANYWHERE but a Comfort Inn.

“great pet-friendly place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2006

We chose the Comfort Inn because it was pet-friendly and we go on vacation with a 60-lb black lab. This was a very good pet-friendly motel, and a cozy place overall to boot. Nice employees. As the other reviewer wrote, the rooms are standard motor inn, but they were reasonably pleasant to spend time in. They would have been perfect with a regular (mini) coffee maker - the one supplied only made a cup at a time. The breakfast bar made up for that somewhat. But we were not placed in a smoking room (which some "pet-friendly" places do) and there was no extra charge for the dog. The small pool was great for cooling off at the end of the day. If I found myself in Easton again I'd definitely stay here.

“Nice Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2005

I stay at the Comfort Inn in Easton every March for a hockey tournament at the Talbot County Community Center. I have never had any problems here and the rooms are always nice and clean. This is your average no frills Comfort Inn. The rooms are your average hotel room, nothing more nothing less. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The rates are usually good here, especially when compared to the high rates at the Holiday Inn Express next door. There is a Denny's right next door that you can walk to and it's open 24 hours of course. You are also a short drive from downtown Easton and St Michaels. Some other good places to eat in the area are the Washington Street Pub in downtown Easton, the Airport cafe at the Easton airport, Big Bats Sports Bar in Easton (they serve a full menu up until around 1:00am), and the Crab Claw in St Michaels.
