I stayed in this hotel for the month of June, 2011. the bathroom was dirty - dirt in the corners of the floor, patched ceiling in bathroom falling down with black mold under the patchwork. I told the office about the ceiling a few days after I checked in, and lt was never addressed. Three were 3 or 4 times I heard arguments tin the halls. Three of those were at 2 - 3 am and there were screams at the tops of lungs. The other was in the afternoon and it sounded like a woman found her boyfriend/husband in the room with another woman.

First the hotel was overbooked so we didn't get the room we booked. Our nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. The room was filthy with dirt and cob webs. The wallpaper was old and peeling off. The carpet did not look clean. The bathroom was dated but clean. The bed was saggy. We will not be returning. I left so fast I forgot my clothes in the closet.

I stayed in Studioplus for 3months from July 2010 to early October 2010. The place is in a nice business area of Columbia and in the evenings it is pretty quiet. The hotel is clean though could do with some refurbishing. The tv did not have enough cable channels and not enough cooking utensils in the kitchen though you can go downstairs to the office to get more. The chair and sofa in the room were most uncomfortable, practically felt the hard wood in my bum. Above all the Staff were simply wonderful and always eager to help.
Generally not a bad place to stay, will definitely stay again.

I had planned the trip a month prior. Without realizing that that there was some confusion about my reservation the day that I arrived. I was told that my room was actually booked for the month PRIOR. And that they may not have any rooms available and if they did that I would have to pay the current price. (let me just say that this trip was crazy to begin with from the flights to the rental cars). After the manager saw that I was freaking out, she calmed me down and assured me everything would be alright. She told me to go grab some lunch and she would call me with details. She was right.. everything worked out great. I not only got my room but got the room at the cheaper rates. Ive traveled quite a bit and many managers wont go through the trouble of anything. I cant imagine checking into any other hotel when I visit Maryland again. thanks a bunch.
