We stayed three nights at this hotel in College Park while spending the Independence Day holiday in Washington D.C. No frills hotel... just a spot to rest, sleep, and that's about it.

The hotel is located off of Baltimore Avenue, which was always busy with traffic, so it was a little noisy in the room with the window open. A/C worked just fine. Bed was comfortable with nice pillows. Lots of tv channels to chose from. The bathroom was a bit warn as well as the carpet in our room. The shower drained very slowly. We skipped the available (yet very small) breakfast and went to Dunkin Donuts up the road every morning. The hotel overall could use a makeover. The hotel's location was convenient as we could just hop onto the interstate and drive a few miles to the Greenbelt Metro station parking lot and park free (on weekends) to ride the Metro into D.C.

I'd recommend this hotel if you aren't staying long and just need a place to sleep. If you want a 4-star hotel, find somewhere else.

I booked 4 rooms in advance for a family reunion. After driving 7 hours on the road the last thing we expected was to be greated by rude customer service. We noticed the housekeeper was not dressed professionally. I requested all rooms to be non-smoking, and once we entered it wreacked of cigarettes. The sheets were stained and had burn marks, I had to request new ones. While we stayed for the 2 nights housekeeping didnt change our sheets nor replace the used towels. The hotel indicated complimentary breakfast and all they had were boxes of cereal, milk and distasteful coffee. I was charged on the invoice $184 per room but when we checked our credit card statement they over charged us $200.11. per roomThis charge is being investigated! I will never stay there again, I'd rather pay the 5 star money than to stay in that dump!

Floor in Bathroom had hair all over. Sink and tub, scuffed and very worn, hard to tell if dirty of just old. hallway smelled like pet urine. Price inexpensive for area. Housekeeping staff when they took out garbage from the floors, put into the only elevator that guests use, bags leak onto the floor which not only make them smelly, but provide a slipping hazard.These bags are then dragged along the hall on the first floor. Coffee provided in room, but nothing to put in the coffee. Breakfast a joke, stale food items and at 0800 coffee had run out.

Room was not clean. Hair all over the bathroom (on floor, shower and toilet). Toilet not clean (urine stains on seat). Shampoo had been used (seal broken and half empty). Floor not clean. Towels dirty. Bath towel had food stains on it (had not been washed). Floor towel had shoe prints on it. Carpet in room had not been vacuumed. Hair on sheets. Definitely not worth $80.
