“Smelled like Marijuana and was filthy dirty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

First of all it was very close to, if not in, a HORRIBLE area. Anytime I mentioned where I was staying to the people I visited, they would cringe and shudder. The other issue was that my hotel room reaked of marijuana, and was filthy dirty with cob webs and dust bunnies. It would be better to travel farther and pay a bit more for a hotel then stay in this hotel.

“Should not have stayed here.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

Internet did not work, and all the front desk had to say is "I don't know what to tell you.". Has a mini fridge that doesn't work. Seedy characters around the facility. The apathy of the staff was apalling. Hotels.com booked this for me. Won't be using them again, either!

“Do not even bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2011

we were on our way home from sc and needed a place for one night. The lady behind the counter was anything but friendly. The first room we checked into was dirty with a large nasty stain on the carpet - this should have been our sign to exit immediately. We ended up switching to another room with a lovely bullet hole in the window. The room was okay - nothing great. There was dirt in the corners and around the night stands. The people around the hotel were somewhat shady. The pool was crap - paint peeling off the bottom. The life guard on duty paid more "attention" to her boyfriend than the guests swimming in the pool. She should have gotten a room! I would strongly advise against staying at this establishment unless you like slumming it.

“missing camera”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2011

We had a camera in the room we called the Days Inn to ask if they could retrieve the camera that we had left it was about 3 hours we was gone they said that I could call back tomarrow no one would go and check I called them about 10 times they did not seem to care well when I finally got ahold of MGT they said they did not find it so I told them it was under my wifes pillow it was a small video camera the size of a cell phone we was just in our car driving to New York 3 hours down the road when wife relised that we left it. The camera was gone so watch your things that cost money. Because someone is not Honest there. And they are very hard to get ahold of I also Called 1-866-DaysInn and they said there is nothing they can do it is a independent owner. Also beaware the Super 8 on the same property is the same owner.

“IF GOING TO DC THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 March 2011

I have been traveling to DC for the past 6 years, I have stayed in this hotel when it was a Ramada and now a Days Inn. That is not what makes it great. It's the staff that makes it a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and they keep the hotel safe. Good breakfast in the morning. The hotel is right across from Andrews AFB, 15 minutes to DC and easy access to the freeway for heading north makes it convenient for access for all your needs.
If your looking for a great place to stay for a good price this is the place. You won't be disappointed.
