“SpringHill great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

My wife and I stopped for the night on our way south on vacation. Fast and friendly check in. Great room - spacious and comfortable. They served appetizers in the evening (chicken wings this evening) and provide breakfast in the AM. Fruit and lollypops out in the lobby area along with coffee available all the time. We asked about a nearby pub for dinner and not only got a thumbs up but received a $5 off coupon from the desk clerk. Would definitely stay there again.

“Holiday travel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

Retired military spending time with grandchildren residing nearby. Indoor pool was exceptional along with spa which we all enjoyed. A very nice Pub/restaurant was located nearby within a 5 min walk that offered terrific food and value for the price.

Room Tip: 1st floor near pool

“Not the Same...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

Stayed here for a wedding almost 10 years ago when it was new and loved the hotel!

Back in the area for business this time and was more than a little disappointed. The staff did not seem to pay attention to details and was busy texting many of the times I came in the hotel. The market at the front desk was only half-stocked and was out of laundry detergent all 6 nights. The breakfast was not good at all, especially for Marriott (how much more does it really cost to get fresh baked goods and fruit instead of frozen items?).

The room was clean but showed sings of wear. Housekeeping forgot to leave shampoo two of the nights. Bed was very comfortable and the TV's were nice.

Taking all this into consideration, I feel the rooms are very overpriced. I think it's time to give another hotel in the area a try.

Thank you for taking the time to give your opinion on your stay with us. We appreciate the compliments on the cleanliness of our rooms, our 37" flat panel HD tvs, and that our beds are very comfortable.
I will also be sure to share your concerns with texting, our market, and replenishing shampoo with our staff in an effort to improve operations. It is our goal for each guest to have a pleasurable stay and we will benefit from your input.

“Governement Travel (ARMY)”

I was BRAC'd to APG all the way from New Mexico. Needless to say the entire experience was not one of the best of my life. I made a reservation at the Spring Hill Suites Edgewood Aberdeen, and requested Gov Rate. From the first date that i arrived to the last time when i left the hotel, all 60 days every body, from the Hotel Manager, the reception desk, the kitchen and the house keeping staff made me feel like if i was a guest of honor. they, all and each one of them, went above and beyond their service to make me feel at home. the hotel is situated just of the highway and made it easy, it was always kept clean inside and out. I saw families and executives and they were always pleasant which reflect on the condition of the hotel . Highly recommend for all kinds of travel specially for us Gov travelers that don't have a whole lot of leeway.

Thank you for your kind review of our property. Our staff does try and make your stay away from home as comfortable as possible. I am glad that we came through for you. Now that you have relocated, be sure to stop in and say HI sometime.

“Great Staff, clean and nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 5 months this year. When I first got to the hotel, the internet was terribly slow. During the time I was there I watched them working on that internet as hard as they could to get it right. There are alot of people that stay there who MUST connect to a VPN for work like myself. The first few months were fairly difficult sending emails, but that last month they finally got something right and got their internet fixed. It is by far the fastest internet I've ever seen in a hotel to be honest. I think they switched from AT&T to Comcast maybe, but it went from less than a Mb down to something like 19Mb downlink one day. I was pretty stoked, because I was able to play my PS3 at night online with no problem, haha.

The internet was my only gripe there for the longest time, and the staff is really cool and down to earth.

Gotta mention Scarlett, Sabrina, Mike, and April.

I stayed there from May 2011 to October 2011, missing a few days in the middle.

Oh the pillows could have been better. Forgot about that.

Oh and the breakfast was not the best, but cooking with what they cook with isn't the easiest.

Room Tip: Corner room especially during the baseball season. There were always little league nuggets running a...
