The hosts are as great as their home. A real oasis. Great food , great ambiance, great setting. This B&B has it all.

I felt compelled to write a review in response to the review posted by lily068. She obviously could not have stayed at the Inn at Tanglewood. My husband and I stayed at the Inn in May and found the Inkeepers most gracious. We have stayed at other B&B's and this was, by far, our most enjoyable. Su & Andy went above & beyond making our stay a pleasant one. You can tell they want their guests to appreciate the beauty of Maine. They know the area well, and make suggestions/recommendations for those not sure what to do for the day. The routes they mapped out for us were very helpful. The Inn itself is beautiful, clean, quiet, & the breakfasts they served each morning were delicious and very edible! There was a variety of food, and they will accommodate food allergies guests may have. I highly recommend this Inn and hope that the review posted by lily068 will be ignored by those considering staying here. Keep in mind, the review was written 6 months after their stay. Why would one wait so long to write such a negative review? I believe she must have confused this Inn with another.
When planning our next trip to Maine, we will definitely be staying at The Inn at Tanglewood.

We had a wonderful night at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall. Su & Andy the hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Everyone that arrived with us enjoyed their rooms and had a great night's sleep. Breakfast topped off our stay. We all sat around the breakfast table and enjoyed the gourmet meal and chatted with the owners. A great place to stay in the Yorks.

The inn is clean, comfortable, convenient, exceptionally charming, and refreshingly quiet, and the owners are friendly, helpful, great chefs, and very considerate. My girlfriend and I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to York!
