We had a wonderful night at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall. Su & Andy the hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Everyone that arrived with us enjoyed their rooms and had a great night's sleep. Breakfast topped off our stay. We all sat around the breakfast table and enjoyed the gourmet meal and chatted with the owners. A great place to stay in the Yorks.

The inn is clean, comfortable, convenient, exceptionally charming, and refreshingly quiet, and the owners are friendly, helpful, great chefs, and very considerate. My girlfriend and I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to York!

This place was such a find. I have been visiting York and Kennebunkport area for over two decades and never knew about this place until I ran across it searching online. It was sparkling clean and very affordable compared to similar places in Kennebunkport. Andy and Su, the innkeepers, were very friendly. Su made a wonderful quiche (wish I had the recipe) and we had breakfast on the expansive, shady porch and chatted with a nice couple. Andy gave us a great little guide for walking the Cliff Walk and Fisherman's Walk in York Harbor. I had never even heard of these pretty paths. It was like discovering a little piece of Maine for the first time that I thought I had known pretty well. And the the little dogs, Kiko and Pippin were adorable--also they were hypo-allergenic for all the allergy sufferers out there. We hope to be back!

Our second stay at Tanglewood for our anniversary and Andy and Sue run a fantastic place. My wife loves it. Breakfast is decadent and the rooms very comfortable. You can't go wrong staying here. The pups love to play too so they'll entertain you at breakfast.
