After a long day of travel we were happy to see Comfort Inn & Suites in Waterville. We checked in about 8 P.M. - got the keys to our room and made our way directly there. Except for the "drunks" waiting for the elevator and the dingy dirty carpets in the halls, the trip to our room was uneventful. Upon pulling down the comforter and blankets on the bed, it became very EVIDENT that the bed had never been made after the last guests! Use your imagination as to what we found. I immediately called the front desk but after about 20 rings and no answer, I decided that I would go down to the front desk. I waited for the elevator only to have the doors open and see same two drunks were on it. So back to my room and on the phone again. This time I got the front desk who said that they would send someone up right away, which they did. The maintenance guy came and made the bed up, saying over and over again that he had no idea how this had happened. It was too late to go anywhere else, so we spent a very uncomfortable night here. The next morning (early) as we were checking out, I asked to speak with the manager. Told them my story and they deducted $20.00 from my bill! They did not seem overly concerned with what had happened. Bottom line - this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.... and I travel a fair amount.

We selected the Comfort Inn as it was near the venue we needed to be at in Waterville. It was very nice and we enjoyed our stay there. The rooms were nice and clean and there was tons of hot water. The staff was very friendly.

We planned on staying at a different hotel but couldn't find it. This hotel was a nice surprise for two very weary travelers at 10PM. Mike at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, upgraded us with my Choice membership. Allowed a late checkout; included a full breakfast, lower price, safe and clean room, big bath. Highly recommend this hotel. All staff very accommodating; we left our keys in the room...they made a new one, we all laughed. Waitress was delightful, all alone serving all with a smile. We'll be back when in the area.

Since opening 10 years ago, this Comfort Inn has taken pride in serving individually ordered and prepared complimentary breakfasts in 3 categories -- eggs, pancakes, french toast. The quality is excellent -- eggs over medium, tricky to prepare, were turned out perfectly. Rooms are clean and quiet.
