This hotel surprised us. We walked into our room and the first thing we noticed was the new smell. We thought, "Wow, this must be a really new hotel." We found out later that the hotel had been built a couple of years ago. They do an excellent job of maintaining the place. Everything was very clean and inviting.

Next door is an Applebee's. When I say next door, I mean within about 50 feet.

This is a very nice hotel and the staff is very friendly. I would stay there again without question.

Newer hotel, very clean and well maintained. Rooms were extremely comfortable for the size and price. Bathroom was large, spotless and well appointed. It is convenient to Rockland and its many cute shops and restaurants. The complementary breakfast is typical of these places so I don't recommend it other than as a quick grab and go. There a number of cute diners and coffee shops nearby that will enjoy much more. (If you happen to pass Moody's Diner about 10 miles south on Route 1, don't hesitate to stop; it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's classic.)

Overall, this Hampton Inn is great value, convenient location and a good choice to stay.

Nice hotel good service overall a good experince. There is a lot of small hotels in this area but being a Hilton Honors memeber I tend to go safe and this was a really good hotel. I would recommend it but stayed in a couple of other Hamptons in Conn. and Vermont that wish I hadnt. Nice central location to travel from.

We stayed here for two nights. The one drawback to the location at this time is the road construction. Otherwise it is right outside of Rockland. There is an Applebees right next door and and ice cream place across the street otherwise that is all for restaurants unless you drive into Rockland. The rooms were immaculate, not a view of any sort though. The room we stayed in had a fridge and a microwave which was nice. There is a pool and a hot tub. There is also a room where you can surf the web for free. This hotel also offers a hot complimentary breakfast. The first morning we were there it was biscuits and gravy and the next morning it was a sausage and egg biscuit.
