“Nice, quiet property in a quiet little community. Well done!”

The couple that own (and live at) the Clark Point Inn obviously take great pride in this property. Inside and out, the inn is very nicely done. Common areas and private rooms alike have been tastefully updated with quality furnishings, modern bathrooms, widescreen TVs, wi-fi, etc.--all while retaining the charm of a historic inn. The front porch provides a great place for relaxing and visiting with fellow guests. And each morning, Mark and Jennifer served up a FANTASTIC breakfast. One criticism: the water was super-hard and the towels (although high-quality) were the texture of sandpaper. Get a water conditioner!

The main part of the town of Southwest Harbor itself is a five-minute walk from the inn. It's a quiet place...about 5 restaurants and a handful of stores, and that's about it. If you like laid-back, you'll like Southwest Harbor.

The room was spacious and cozy, the breakfasts were amazing, and Mark and Jen were gracious and friendly, and the experience was AWESOME. Wish we could have stayed longer than just 2 nights, and next time we will!

We were fortunate enough to get a night stay at the last minute. We wish we could have stayed longer! The hospitality was terrific, the rooms clean, comfortable and inviting, and the breakfast amazing. Even got to purchase some early Christmas gifts! What a wonderful B&B! Thank you!

“Very comfortable”

We enjoyed our stay at Clark Point Inn. Our room was spacious, included a table, couch, and refrigerator. The breakfasts were quite spectacular in presentation - they almost looked to lovely to eat. Jen always had treats available, and she clearly enjoys cooking. Both Jen and Mark were helpful and gracious. I was concerned about traffic noise at night but it was never a problem, and I'm a light sleeper. The inn is close enough to walk to restaurants, which we did most nights. All in all, a very nice inn and a good experience.

“Great people and memories”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clark Point Inn. Mark and Jennifer were extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The little touches like truffles in our room each night and coffee, tea, and espresso available throughout the day were impressive. The breakfasts were spectacular in both taste and presentation! Our room was very pretty and comfortable, though the view was perhaps overstated. We would definitely return to the Clark Point Inn!
