The room we stayed in seemed to be pretty clean and neat. Nice and pleasant owners. Tasty food in the restaurant downstairs. We parked for free on police parking lot just a block away. BUT!!! the smell in the room horrible, like if someone was smoking there non-stop. Or possibly it was just a stinky odor from the old furniture (VERY old beds and mattresses). We couldn't get the smell out, not with fan on nor with windows opened (we couldn't really open the window until 11 pm 'cause kitchen was right below our room and all food smell just went up). Secondly, the beds were awful. Boxspring was so broken that almost touched the floor. And every time you turn, the bed was squeaking so load that everyone woke up. First night we almost didn't sleep. Beds definitely have to be replaced there! I don't like to leave a bad review, because the place itself was nice and quiet, only half an hour drive to Acadia park, plus owners are very pleasant, but our experience there was bad: constant headache from smell and sleepless night. Maybe that was just our room. Hopefully, other guests were luckier
