“Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever been in. Filthy, smelly, old, shabby, inconvient ,incredibly expensive and possibly unsafe. It was the only hotel room I could find available on short notice over a holiday weekend and it was horrible. The cab drive told me he was surprised when he picked his us and we asked him to take us to a nice restaurant in the Old Port because the people he usually picks up from that hotel are using it as temporary housing.

“Priceless, but if you don't have a car, think about it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011 via mobile

The price was no doubt my priority here, and ir was very safety even far than city. The room it's ok, the bath was so-so, and I could catch a bus at the time without troubles. There is a mall center a half miles than and I took my breakfast in a typical road place.

“Disgusting feces on the floor”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2011

person found this review helpful

we stayed there for one night and was totally disgusted. there was a piece of feces on the floor that my son found and black curly hair on the floor in the bathroom and we all have light straight hair. the beds were hard as rocks and if I could have got another place to stay I would have. I complained to the girl in the morning and she said the manager would call us and give us a discount but that never happened, NEVER AGAIN WILL PAY HIGHER PRICE SOMEWHERE ELSE

“Decent value, would stay again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 March 2011

The room quality was good, much better than the Motel 6 locations we've stayed in while in Massachusetts. It was a bit noisy at times but nothing so serious I wouldn't come back again. The upper floor has a patio type walkway and the cleaners carts created quite a rumble early in the morning while they were being pushed. We were awake anyway but it would probably wake a lighter sleeper. Good location and the pricing for this time of year was quite decent.

“Just fine for one night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2010

Driving through town and looking for a cheap place to stay for the night, we found this Econo Lodge.

The staff was friendly and even helpful when I inquired about a lower internet rate.

The room was adequate and clean; even had a fridge.

The water was hot in the shower.

The breakfast was just as advertised. Hot coffee, juice, cereal and danish.

Located behind a mall. Seemed safe and quite.

For one night and the price; Econo Lodge was just fine.
