My 7 year old daughter and I stayed at this Days Inn while in town for a trip to the theatre. She loved the indoor pool (which is small but adequate for her needs) and I loved the price. My daughter loved the hot waffles for breakfast and I loved the fact it was free with the room rental. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We will stay here again on our next trip.

My husband and I try and get away to Maine as often as we can. We usually go for 2 nights and we're on a strict budget this year so we stayed at Days Inn in South Portland. The location to the highway is great! Right off the highway so you can easily hop on to get to downtown Portland. It's across from the Maine Mall so you have plenty of stores/restaurants to pick from in case you need anything.

As far as the Maine feel-this place is not it. It's a typical hotel off the highway with no Maine character. It would be a great stop over hotel while on you're way up or down the coast. You get what you pay for. The hotel is really noisy and any bump or thud within a 4 door radius you will here. The highway is about 200 feet away so you do hear traffic and large trucks going by even with the windows closed.

Overall this is a decent hotel, great location, pool and hot tub are great!

This place isn't bad. It's not your five star hotel by all means, but hey it gets the job done of housing you when you need some sleep and they even throw in free continental breakfast which actually is decent. There are muffins, donuts, fruit and even a waffle maker.

The rooms aren't glamorous, just your basic full bed with lumpy pillows. The carpet and decor is sad and dreary.The bathroom is standard and you can even change the shower head to adjust to type of pressure you want.

You can really beat the location, close to the Maine Mall and the highway. It's also a short drive to Old Orchard Beach.

If you're looking for no frills and just a place to sleep, shower and have free breakfast check this place out. Otherwise, don't expect five star accommodations.

Don,t expect five star but the rooms are clean with very comfortable king beds, and the staff is friendly. We spent 3 nights around Black Friday and only paid $60 night. I would recommend to anyone!
