I stayed overnight - having traveled from Nova Scotia. While the motel is clearly older the room was spotless and smelled fresh. The staff were unbelievably friendly and courteous. The restaurant had good old fashioned home cooking that was excellent and reasonably priced.

It is located literally right off the 95 Interstate - easy to find! And the scenery is wonderful - trees as far as you can see.

I would not hesitate returning to this hidden little gem and highly recommend it.

I read a bad review of this hotel from a few years ago, and I have to admit that I had doubts about staying at the hotel after reading it. Fortunately I was surprised when I got to the hotel. The staff was all friendly and courteous. The rooms were very clean, as well as the property. The restaurant next door had excellent simple food. All in all I was very happy with our stay there.

We stayed at the Brookside motel and were very disappointed. I believe they operate the restaurant next door which was pretty good. The motel has some serious problems. When I was there the septic was malfunctiong. The bed coverings were literally tatered. There was a big hole in the bathroom where the light/fan? used to be. There were major stains on the carpets.
