We found Watchtide by the Sea on B&B.com. We had a great time. There are new owners who are gradually updating the very large building. The sun porch, a large, sunny room where breakfast is served, was wonderful--furnished with a variety of chairs, sofas, and a wicker lounge that was my favorite. I could sit there, look out at an expanse of green with Penobscot Bay in the distance, and just enjoy the morning. There are other public rooms--a living room and a library--and all are supplied with books, magazines, and guide books. Breakfast was great with lots of variety during the three days we were there. Our air conditioner cooled the room with no difficulty. I'd go back in a minute!
