We stopped here for one night on a recent trip to Maine. There aren't many places to stay in this area in the Winter time, as many of the summer hotels are closed. The room was very pleasant, and the beds were comfortable with clean linens. The room was mostly clean, but our mirror was slightly splattered and there were a couple of odd stains on the ceiling. The only major problem with the room is that it was unbearably hot. The windows did not open and, even though it was 20 degrees outside, the only way to make the room cool enough was to have the air conditioning on. Even with the A/C, the room stayed warm.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet - hot oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and make your own waffles, along with the customary continental breakfast selections. Also nice was that coffee, tea and cocoa was available all day.
