During our 2 week fall exploration of New England we looked forward to reaching the coast and our stay at the Berry Manor Inn in Rockland . We were certainly not disappointed. Climbing the steps of the large front porch you feel that you are stepping back in time, and as you enter the grand Victorian Manor house you can almost feel time slowing down. The Inn is truly lovely and impressive, yet the feeling is not at all stuffy. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. The owner and staff were very helpful in making suggestions for restaurants and even calling for reservations, as well as giving information about shops and sights in the area. They make you feel more like family than unknown guests. There is an upstairs parlor as well as a downstairs parlor for quiet places to relax or read a book. I preferred the large sitting room downstairs with its comfy overstuffed furniture and toasty fireplace. Be sure to add a few pieces to the puzzle which is always in progress. The breakfast each morning was a lovely affair and delicious. And of course, one has to comment on the fresh homemade pies available night and day which you can enter into the large kitchen and serve yourself. It was fun gathering in the kitchen at night with other guests as we surveyed the large choice of pies and made our individual selections. All in all I would say that the Berry Manor is the perfect place for a great few days "retreat" from our normally hectic lifestyle, a cozy place for a romantic get away, or just a restful stop on your New England exploration. I would love to be there right now.

My Husband and I were in Rockland last weekend and we chose to stay at Berry Manor because of the reviews we had previously read. Cant wait to go back! The entire crew saw to our every need from the moment we walked in the door, from making dinner reservations to giving us tips on where to visit. This was also a first for us staying at a bed and breakfast. What an experience this was. We stayed in room 12 which had a marvelous canope bed and fireplace at the foot. The bedding was beautiful, along with the furnishings and the bath fixtures. (The shower was our fav!!!!!) Fresh baked homemade pies ALL day long ( with ice cream of course). It was better than HOME! If it were'nt for my girls being back home, I would not have wanted to leave Rockland. It's a beautiful town. By the way, if you visit, don't miss out dining at Conte's, if you like what they call "adventure dining". We loved it! The owners of Berry Manor were delightful as well! Thanks for a fabulous weekend! Can't wait to come back.

Berry Manor Inn is not only an amazing Inn but it's an experience. when you get in you really come back at the beginning of your life, when you where a child. I went there with my wife and my daughter, who was close to 4 four and it was like to open a door a get into in another worl, full of toys and with love all around you. It was like to live the same experience as Alice lived in Wonderland. Thanks for the owners and for all the staff. You are a piece of our heart. we hope to come in your amazing strange world soon.

My husband and I stayed at The Berry Manor Inn for a weekend getaway a month before out first baby was due. Our room was beautiful, the owners and their staff were helpful and kind, and the location of the inn was easy to find and to navigate from around town. My favorite part...amazing delicious pie any time you want!!! I HIGHLY recommend The Berry Manor Inn.
